Benny had a great ride to Top Paw Training. He was quiet and calm and basically slept with Jacob in the back seat. What a sweet boy! He met the other dogs when we arrived and seemed ok with all the new sights to see. I put him to bed in his bunk (crate) next to Bruno (Pointer-mix) and Maya (German Shepherd). They liked him and helped him feel safe. He went to sleep and was quiet until about 2am when I put a bark collar on him to quiet him down. We all went back to sleep and he was fine the rest of the night.

This morning he went potty outside and did not have an accident in his crate- good news! He doesn't mind the bark collar so I'm using it until I know that he has really settled in to manage and nuisance barking or anxiety that might get amped by barking. He had some howling mid-day when I was training other dogs and it was too funny!

He played with my son when he got home from school and played with my dog, Noodles. He has a nice calm approach and is curious but not overly assertive.
He met the horse, Fiona, and was so brave! So far he is settling in well and has already learned to use the doggy water bottle in his crate and is eating very well.

I think that he is a very fine animal and well bred with a super-desirable temperament. I'm excited to get to know him more and help to shape him into a great pet!
